I didn’t come too late! There still was snow, and I went crazy about it. Snow fights, building snowmen and wannabe snow forts, “snow-sliding”—how could people get tired of these things? It is so BEAUTIFUL! Too bad I didn’t take pictures in the snow while there still was some.
Since I got here there have been quite a few snowstorms (one in March that was up to 20 inches! And that is a lot for me...heehehe).
Anyhow, here are a few pictures:

It is Valentine’s day!
We Woodbridgians tried something different – cheering the community giving out “free hugs” – with the “amazing” Richmond Hill teens. It was the first time for all of us. But, I must say, it was fun.
I met Sonya, Jonny and Mike, and –my God! - Amy was there too! Oh, I missed that girl!

And of course, we didn’t forget to go to Dolarama, “just for Mommy”. She is sort of a Dolarama Junkie. (heeheehehehe)

We took Marie to the airport at 6:30 a.m. to departure. It just so happened that Ana also arrived at the same time straight from Brazil; one departure, and one arrival. It is a new beginning for Ana in our Home!

We (Marie, Stephan, Jonny, Robin, and I) went ice-skating! It was lots of fun! But at the end, while racing with Stephen, Jonny had a fall and hurt his foot! It got swollen real fast! We waited a couple of days treating it as a sprained ankle with ice. But on the third day (February 6, 2008) we took him to the clinic as it was still quite swollen and painful. They directed us to the hospital to take x-ray, which confirmed some fracture. Next day, the specialist doctor explained that it was torn ligament and small fracture. They put his leg in a cast and crutches for one month! Poor Jonny!
